This is one of the projects that is closest to my heart… 

A few years ago, Manu from Evasion Guitare contacted me because he was following my videos on YouTube and liked what I was doing. One thing led to another and the connection went well, he told me that he was a luthier and that he would love to make me a guitar. So we started developing the very first Niko LP which would see the light of day a few months later under the name of the Heisenburst (the face on the table looks just like the main character from Breaking Bad, Heisenberg).

We talked a lot with Manu about what I wanted and especially everything he could bring with his know-how. And I am lucky today to have a high-end LP, custom-made, which was used in particular for recording my guitar takes on United Guitars Vol. 4. We also worked with Hathor Pickups for the creation of Niko Slash Signature microphones that we added to this case. CTS electronics, Honduran mahogany body, fingerboard that I wanted in ebony for a more snappy sound…

Given the quality of the woods, the materials used and the sound of the guitar, we said to ourselves that we would then offer others the opportunity to also have a custom-made guitar for a budget that we have always tried to be as reasonable as possible. We then launched the Niko LP project which consists of you being able to choose and make your custom LP. From the color of the top, to the type of neck, including personalized mother-of-pearl or not, the progressive neck, the frets, the rosewood or ebony fingerboard... In short, your high-end guitar customizable from A to Z.

Today Manu has already made more than 20 Niko LP for customers around the world, one of which is currently at Slash in Los Angeles. I am personally very proud to be able to contribute to keeping Manu's craftsmanship and talent alive through his works and the number of positive feedbacks about each guitar make us want to go further each time.

My 2nd personal Niko LP, the Niko AFD, was recently given to me and I can't wait to use it in my various projects!

Today we offer 2 options: either a 100% customizable Niko LP in VOS finish, or the same in a relic version where Manu excels even more. You can also judge the work accomplished on the Gold Top or my AFD.

Finally, I wanted to thank Manu from the bottom of my heart for his trust, his talent and especially his kindness because he is one of the people I appreciate the most as a human being today. A colossal work to shape all these guitars by hand, leaving a little of his soul in each creation and especially a final result close to perfection. He deserves all the praise possible because this job can be complicated and long and you really have to be passionate to be able to create a jewel starting from a piece of wood. But I must say that what I remember the most from all this is the human adventure with Manu that I even brought with me to see Slash on tour and it was the least I could do to thank him. Thank you very much Manu!!
