The most Slash Perry !!! November Rain's guitar, the Joe Perry 59 !

I think all Slash fans know it and the story that goes with it. For the others here is a little summary... In the 80s, Joe Perry, needing money, parted with his favorite 1959 Les Paul. Slash, a big Perry fan, bought it back a few years later for $8,000. Which at the time was a significant price but today would make any collector smile when you know that a 1959 Les Paul sells for at least 250,000 euros and can go up to a million depending on the condition and pedigree. In any case, Slash realized his dream of owning this guitar and immortalized it in the video with 1 billion views of November Rain (the solo in the desert, it's the Perry !). A few years later, Joe Perry, having recovered with the return of Aerosmith to the forefront, will try everything to buy it back from Slash who wants nothing to do with it... Finally, the latter will offer it to Perry for his 50th birthday and it has since been carefully stored in his collection.

In 2013, Gibson will release the reissue model of this guitar in three finishes: VOS, Aged, and Aged and Signed. Here we have one of the VOS models, limited to 150 copies. The '59 sound and the class of tobacco are a guitar that brings together two great artists.
